- Digital India campaign Under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology was launched by PM Narendra Modi On 2 July 2015, to ensure that Government services are made available to citizens electronically by increasing Internet connectivity and making country digitally empowered. Digital India consists of three core components - Development of secure and stable Digital Infrastructure, Delivering government services digitally AND Universal Digital Literacy.

- Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDisha) -
- PMGDisha is an initiative under Digital India program, aimed at making 6 Crore people in rural areas digitally literate. It aims to reach around 40% of rural households by covering one member from every eligible household. PMGDisha has an outlay of INR 2,351.38 crores and aims to make 6 crore rural households digitally literate by March 2019.
