RSSB Recruitment 2026 Forester 259 Posts Online Application

Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has invited online applications for permanent recruitment to 259 Forester posts from candidates who were declared qualified in the CET (Senior Secondary / 12th Level) Examination 2024. Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process for the Forester post will consist of the following stages in the given order:

• Written Examination
• Physical Standard and Efficiency Test (PST & PET)

Written Examination

The written exam will be an objective type test as per the following structure:

Negative marking will be 1/3rd of marks allotted for a question (1 mark). Each question will five options, out of which only one correct answer is to be marked. If you are not attempting a question then you have to darken the circle 'E'. If none of the five circles is darkend, one third (1/3) part of the marks of question shall be deducted. A candidate who has not darkened any of the five circles in more than 10% question, shall be disqualifed.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates will have to fulfill the following minimum physical standards criteria :

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes such as Bhil, Meena, Garasia, Sahariya, Damor, Kathodi, and other notified tribes who are residents of Rajasthan, Ladakh, Lahaul, and Spiti will be eligible for relaxation in the prescribed minimum height standards, where the minimum height requirement will be 152 cm for male candidates and 145 cm for female candidates.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

This test will be qualifying in nature where candidates will have to complete a walking test. Male candidates will have to complete a distance of 25 km within a duration of 4 hours. Female candidates will have to complete a distance of 16 km within the same duration of 4 hours.

Final Merit

Only candidates who qualify the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be considered for the preparation of the final merit list, which will be made solely on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.

Fee Structure :

Candidates who have not previously paid the OTR Fee are required to submit the application fee online through the Rajasthan Government SSO Portal. The applicable category-wise fee is as follows:

• General / Creamy Layer OBC / Creamy Layer MBC: ₹600
• Non-Creamy Layer OBC / Non-Creamy Layer MBC / EWS / SC / ST: ₹400
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): ₹400

This fee is charged as a One Time Registration (OTR) fee in accordance with the Rajasthan Govt's Directive dated 19-04-2023.
