Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) invites online applications for its Rawatbhata (Rajasthan) Site for engagement of Contract based Trade Apprentices against 245 vacancies under Apprentices Act 1961. Last date for submission of online application is 18-03-2026 (Till 4 PM). This Apprenticeship is for one year in designated ITI trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, COPA, Turner, Machinist and Welder.

Candidates are encouraged to opt for apprenticeship training as it enhances future employment prospects in the related field as well as within similar organizations. The training provides valuable hands-on experience, practical exposure, and industry-relevant skills that strengthen career opportunities ahead.

 Minimum 18 years and Maximum 24 years ITI Pass Certificate in the respective trade (Full-time/Regular) from a recognized Board/Institute.

For Welder trade, eligibility includes candidates qualified with 8th standard as per trade norms along with relevant ITI certification.
₹9,600/- per month (Stipend)

Other Eligibility Conditions:
  • Final year / appearing candidates are not eligible. Required qualification must be completed as on the cut-off date (18-03-2026).
  • Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any Government/PSU/Private organization are not eligible.
  • Preference will be given to eligible local candidates residing within 16 km radius of Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site (Domicile certificate required for local preference).
  • Candidates may apply for more than one trade, but separate application must be submitted for each trade. Only the latest application will be considered in case of multiple applications for the same trade.
Standard of Physical Fitness:
  • Minimum Height – 137 cms and above.
  • Minimum Weight – 25.4 Kg and above.
  • Chest Expansion – Not less than 3.8 cms (irrespective of size of chest).
  • Vision – No morbid condition of either eye or eyelids likely to cause risk, aggravation or recurrence.
  • Shortlisted candidates must submit Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of document verification.

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection of candidates will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the respective ITI trade. Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of ITI marks, followed by document verification.

In case of a tie in ITI percentage, the candidate born earlier will be given preference; if the date of birth is also the same, higher percentage in 10th standard (or 8th standard in case of Welder trade) will be considered for merit ranking. Preference will be given to eligible local candidates residing within 16 km radius of Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site.

Fee Structure :

No Application fee is to be paid for this recruitment drive.

How to Apply :

Eligible candidates may follow the steps given below to apply for Trade Apprentice engagement in Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site:

  • Before applying, scan a recent passport size photograph in JPEG format (minimum 10 KB and maximum 50 KB; dimensions between 180 x 240 pixels and 480 x 640 pixels).
  • Scan the signature in JPEG format (maximum 20 KB; dimensions between 80 x 100 pixels and 160 x 560 pixels).
  • Register as a candidate on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS 2.0) portal before applying.
  • Ensure that the Aadhaar number is seeded with the bank account.
  • After successful registration on NAPS 2.0, submit the online application through the NPCIL careers website for Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site.
  • Apply under Establishment Registration No. E08160800007 for Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site; applications not submitted under the respective Establishment ID will not be accepted.
  • Fill in all required details carefully in the online application form and verify the information before final submission.
  • Last date for submission is 18-03-2026 (16:00 Hrs.).
  • Keep a printout of the duly signed online application for future reference; there is no requirement to send the printout to Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited at this stage.
  • At the time of document verification, carry -
    • Printout of the signed online application along with self-attested copies and original documents such as Date of Birth proof (10th certificate/mark sheet)
    • Educational qualification mark sheets (10th/12th)
    • ITI certificate and all semester/year mark sheets
    • PAN card, Aadhaar card, bank account details, and two recent passport size photographs.
