Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) invites online applications for 30 Executive Trainee posts on permanent basis, in Industrial & Fire Safety and Physics disciplines. Last date for submission of online application is 04-03-2026 (4 PM).

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will consist of two stages: Stage I – Computer Based Test (CBT) and Stage II – Personal Interview.
Stage I – Computer Based Test (CBT)
The Computer Based Test will be conducted for both disciplines. Based on the number of vacancies, candidates who secure sufficiently high marks in CBT will be shortlisted for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:12 in order of merit.

Stage II – Personal Interview
- Candidates shortlisted in ratio of 1:12 based on CBT marks will be called for Personal Interview (tentatively during 2nd week of June 2026). In case of a tie at the cut-off stage, all candidates securing the same marks will be shortlisted
- Interview details will be communicated through Email/SMS. Call letters will be available for download.
- Final selection will be based only on performance in Personal Interview, subject to medical fitness.
- No weightage will be given to CBT marks in final selection. Total marks for Interview are 100. Qualifying Marks in Interview are 70% for Unreserved and 60 % for EWS/SC/OBC (NCL)/PwBD.
- For Physics discipline, PwBD candidates will be shortlisted separately in the ratio of 1:12 for each disability category where vacancies are reserved and will be considered only against Reactor Physics Stream. Separate merit lists will be prepared based on interview marks for each PwBD category.
- In case of a tie in Interview marks, higher CBT marks will determine merit. If both are equal, the candidate senior in age will rank higher. The waitlist will be equal to the number of selected candidates and will remain valid up to 21-09-2026.
Document Verification
Before final selection, detailed document verification will be conducted. Candidates must produce original documents along with self-attested copies as applicable:
- Printed copy of online application form.
- Interview call letter.
- Proof of Date of Birth (10th/Matric certificate).
- All semester/year mark sheets and final degree certificate.
- Proof of minimum 60% marks as prescribed.
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL) certificate in prescribed format, if applicable.
- Valid OBC (NCL) certificate with non-creamy layer status, if applicable.
- EWS certificate in prescribed format, if applicable.
- PwBD certificate (minimum 40% disability), if applicable.
- Discharge/Service certificate for Ex-Servicemen, if applicable.
- Certificate for Dependents of 1984 riot victims, if applicable.
- Government-issued Photo Identity Proof.
- Any other document supporting eligibility as mentioned in the application.
Fee Structure :
Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -
- Rs 500 (non-refundable) for male candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories.
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/DODPKIA/Female applicants and employees of NPCIL – Exempted from payment of application fee.
