After reviewing received applications for 20 posts of Technical Assistant, Fitter and Various (PRL Ahmedabad), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will inform shortlisted candidates regarding Written Test and Skill Test to be held later.

Mode of Recruitment :

Applications received for the mentioned posts will be thoroughly evaluated by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). After the screening process, shortlisted candidates will be called for selection process to be held as mentioned.

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’
  • Selection will be based on Written Test and Interview.
  • Written Test will assess both theoretical and practical knowledge covering breadth and depth of the prescribed syllabus.
  • Shortlisting for Interview: Based on performance in Written Test, in a ratio of 1:5 (minimum 10 candidates per category).
  • Final selection: 50% weightage for Written Test and 50% for Interview.
  • Written Test Pattern:
    • For Post Codes 01 & 02 – 60 MCQs, Duration 75 minutes (1/3 negative marking).
    • For Post Codes 03–06 – 80 MCQs, Duration 90 minutes (1/3 negative marking).
Technical Assistant / Scientific Assistant / Library Assistant ‘A’ / Technician ‘B’ / Draughtsman ‘B’
  • Selection through Written Test and Skill Test.
  • Written Test will check theoretical and practical knowledge as per prescribed syllabus.
  • Written Test Pattern: 80 Multiple Choice Questions, Duration 1.5 Hours (+1/–0.33 marking).
  • Skill Test: 100 Marks (Qualifying in nature, Go/No-Go basis – marks not counted in final merit).
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • Unreserved Candidates – 32/80 (Written), 50/100 (Skill)
    • Reserved Candidates – 24/80 (Written), 40/100 (Skill)
  • Final Merit List: Based on Written Test only.
