ISRO Recruitment 2025 Technical Assistant, Sub Officer and Various (LPSC) 23 Posts Online Application
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released a notification for online applications for 23 permanent posts of Technical Assistant, Sub Officer and Various for Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC). Applicants must apply by 26-08-2025 after verifying eligibility.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will be conducted in two stages: a written test followed by a skill test. The written test will have a duration of 90 minutes and will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions, with each correct answer carrying one mark. A negative marking of 0.33 marks will be applied for every incorrect response. Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test in a ratio of 1:5, with a minimum of 10 candidates, based on their performance in the written test. The final selection will be made solely on the basis of marks obtained in the written test by candidates who qualify in the skill test.
For the posts of Light Vehicle Driver and Heavy Vehicle Driver, the written test will have a duration of 120 minutes and will consist of 100 objective-type questions. Each correct answer will carry one mark, and a negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for each wrong answer.
Fee Structure :
For the posts of Sub Officer and Technical Assistant, all applicants are required to initially pay an application fee of Rs. 750 (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only). Candidates belonging to fee-exempted categories such as Female, SC, ST, PWBD, and Ex-Servicemen will receive a full refund of the paid fee. Applicants from other categories will be refunded Rs. 500, with Rs. 250 being retained as the application fee.
For all other posts, the application process requires an initial uniform payment of Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred only). Fee-exempted categories, including Female, SC, ST, PWBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates, will be refunded the entire amount paid. Applicants from other categories will receive a refund of Rs. 400, with Rs. 100 retained as the application fee.

Mode of Recruitment :
The written examination will consist of a single objective-type paper, divided into two parts: Part 'A' and Part 'B'. The total duration of the examination will be 120 minutes.

Part 'A' - Area/Discipline Specific:
This section will comprise 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. The marking scheme will include a positive marking of +1 for each correct answer and a negative marking of -1/3 for each incorrect answer.

Part 'B' - Aptitude/Ability Tests:
This section will consist of a maximum of 15 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), totaling 20 marks. There will be no negative marking in this part.
The questions in the Aptitude/Ability Tests will be based on various reasoning abilities, including Numerical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Diagrammatic Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, and Deductive Reasoning.
Interview:
Based on performance in the written test, candidates will be short-listed for the interview round.
Fee Structure :
An application fee of ₹250 is applicable for all posts. However, at the time of submission of the application, all candidates are required to pay a uniform processing fee of ₹750 per application. This fee is non-refundable except under certain conditions.
The processing fee will be refunded only to those candidates who appear in the written examination. The refund will be processed as :
- ₹750 will be refunded in full for candidates who are exempted from the payment of the application fee. This includes women candidates, candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), and ex-servicemen.
- ₹500 will be refunded for all other candidates, after deducting the applicable application fee of ₹250.
