HPCL 608 Apprentices Recruitment 2026 - Complete Details

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is inviting applications for the engagement of Graduate Apprentice Trainees in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation engineering for the 2026-27 period to support its extensive refining and marketing operations across India. Interested candidates must complete their online application through the HPCL portal by the last date of 02-03-2026.

This engagement is strictly for a temporary apprenticeship training period of one year as per Apprentices Act 1961. The corporation is offering a total of 614 training slots distributed across various Indian states.

Candidates who complete HPCL Apprentice training will receive the following benefits:

  • Relaxation in upper age limit for future recruitments equivalent to the duration of the apprenticeship.
  • An additional 5% weightage on marks secured in the Computer Based Test (CBT) for shortlisting in subsequent selection stages of other HPCL recruitments.
  • Enhanced future employment opportunities in related fields across public and private sector organizations.

Notes:
  • Only Engineering Graduates who completed degree on or after 01-04-2023 are eligible.
  • Candidates from all states may apply.
  • Registration and approval on NATS 2.0 portal by BOAT is mandatory.
  • Candidates with existing or previous apprenticeship contract under Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible.
  • Candidates with one year or more work experience are not eligible.

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection will be based on merit, considering the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying Engineering degree as per the prescribed eligibility criteria and available training slots. Applications will be screened accordingly, and candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio for document verification and informed via registered email.

Final merit list will be prepared after successful document verification. Engagement will be strictly in merit order, subject to acceptance of the apprenticeship contract on the NATS portal and submission of a medical fitness certificate.

Fee Structure :

No Application fee is to be paid for this recruitment drive.

How to Apply :

Candidates can Apply for Graduate Apprentice (Engineering) at HPCL through online mode only, by following below steps :

  1. Register on the HPCL Apprentice Application portal using the option “Sign up for New Registration”.
  2. After registration, login credentials (email ID and password) will be sent to registered email ID. Login to HPCL Apprentice Application portal using the received credentials.
  3. Select the Engineering Branch from the dropdown as per the advertisement (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation).
  4. Fill Personal Details as required. Fields marked with * are mandatory.
  5. Click on “Validate your details”. In case of error, correct the details as per the message displayed. Click on “Save & Next” to proceed further.
  6. Fill Contact Details correctly, including correspondence address, permanent address and contact number.
  7. Select only one State of Training from the dropdown. Validate the details again and click “Save & Next” to move to Qualification Details.
  8. Enter Qualification Details exactly as per Engineering records.
  9. Upload recent passport sized photograph and signature.
  10. Use the “Preview” option to recheck all details. If correction is required, go back and edit before final submission. Tick the declaration checkbox and click on “Final Submit”.
  11. After successful submission, a confirmation email with HPCL Application Number will be sent to registered email ID.
  12. No hard copy of the application form is required to be sent to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). Keep a copy/printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
