Chhattisgarh Professional Examinations Board (CGVYAPAM) is inviting online applications for regular recruitment to 13 posts of Laboratory Assistant / Sampler Grade-2 under Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board, Nava Raipur. Interested candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility and compliance conditions before submitting the application form. The last date to apply online is 27-01-2026.

Selected candidates will be engaged in laboratory and field-related environmental monitoring work, including sample collection, testing assistance, and supporting technical operations as per departmental requirements.

• Examination centres: 05 divisional headquarters (Surguja, Bilaspur, Durg, Jagdalpur, Raipur)

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will be conducted through a written examination organized by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam), on 22-03-2026. Based on marks obtained in the written test, a merit list will be prepared and final appointment will be issued by the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board, Raipur. In case of equal marks, preference will be given to the candidate older in age.

• Part 1 – General Studies: 40 Questions (40 Marks)
  • General Knowledge – 20 Marks
  • General Knowledge of Chhattisgarh – 20 Marks
• Part 2 – Subject Related: 60 Questions (60 Marks)

Marking Scheme

• Each question carries 1 mark.
• Only one option must be selected for each question.
• For every incorrect answer, 1/4 mark will be deducted.
• Unattempted questions will carry zero marks.

Exam Hall Entry Instructions

• Candidates must carry a printed admit card.
• Black or blue ball point pen is mandatory.
• One original photo identity proof such as Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card or Aadhaar Card is required.

Objection / Answer Key Process

• After the examination, the model answer key will be published on the Vyapam website.
• Candidates can submit objections within the prescribed time limit. Objection fee is Rs. 50 per question and must be paid online.
• Objections submitted without valid proof will not be accepted.
• Final answer key will be released after expert review.
• No re-objection will be allowed after the final answer key.

Fee Structure :

Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -

• General Category – Rs. 350.00
• Other Backward Class – Rs. 250.00
• Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / PwBD – Rs. 200.00

Refund Policy –

• Candidates who are permanent residents of Chhattisgarh and appear in the examination will be eligible for fee refund. The refund amount will be credited to the same bank account used for payment of the application fee.
• No refund will be applicable for candidates who do not appear in the examination.
