Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam) has invited online applications on behalf of the Chhattisgarh State Agricultural Marketing (Mandi) Board, for permanent recruitment of 200 Sub Inspectors. The last date to apply online is 27-02-2026.

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will consist of a competitive examination, followed by merit list preparation and Document / Medical Fitness verification.

Examination Structure

The Sub-Inspector recruitment examination will be conducted for a total of 100 marks with the following subject-wise distribution:

• Candidates must carry only the permitted items inside the examination hall, Including admit card, black/blue ball point pen, and original photo ID proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID/PAN/Driving License or any other valid govt issued ID).
• The total duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
• Negative marking will apply - 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Unanswered questions will not carry any penalty.

Merit List and Tie-Breaking

VYAPAM will be responsible for conducting the examination and issuing the merit list based on the results. The final selection and appointment process will be completed by the Chhattisgarh State Agricultural Marketing (Mandi) Board.

In case of equal marks, the candidate with the earlier date of birth will be given priority. If both marks and age are the same, priority will be decided based on the English alphabetical order of the candidate’s name.

Verification and Final Appointment

Selected candidates will be inducted into service only after police verification and submission of a valid medical fitness certificate issued by the District Medical Authority. A waiting list will also be maintained, which will remain valid for one year from the date of result declaration.

Fee Structure :

Candidates must pay the prescribed fee via online mode at the time of application, as per Chhattisgarh state govt regulations.

Fee Refund Policy

As per CG Govt's order dated 21-04-2025, local residents of Chhattisgarh who appear for the exam will receive a full refund of their fee. The amount will be credited back to the same bank account used during the initial payment after the results are declared.

3. Application Correction
   1. If any mistake occurs, correction is allowed within 03 days after the last date of application submission. Candidates must correct errors themselves, and a prescribed correction fee will be applicable.
4. After successful submission, candidates should keep a printout safely for future reference. Currently, there is no instruction to send any printout to CG Vyapam or any office.
