Alipurduar District Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in for GDMO, Community Health Assistant & Medical Officer (Paediatrician) – 8 Posts

Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Alipurduar will conduct Walk-in Interview and document verification on 12-10-2023 at 11:00 AM for engagement of 8 contractual posts under National Health Mission (NHM).

General Duty Medical Officer (FRU) 04 Maximum 67 Years MBBS from MCI recognized institute with 1 year compulsory internship.
Must be registered with West Bengal Medical Council / MCI. 		Rs. 60,000/- Provide outpatient and inpatient medical services at FRU, manage emergency cases, supervise clinical services, and ensure implementation of NHM health programs at facility level.
Community Health Assistant (Urban) 03 21 – 40 Years ANM or GNM from recognized institute.
Must be registered with West Bengal Nursing Council.
Must be proficient in Bengali and permanent resident of Alipurduar District. 		Rs. 13,000/- Support urban health programs under NUHM, conduct community visits, assist in maternal & child health services, maintain health records, and coordinate awareness activities at municipal level.
Medical Officer (Paediatrician) – FRU 01 Maximum 67 Years MBBS with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in Paediatric Medicine.
Must be registered with West Bengal Medical Council. 		Rs. 70,000/- (MBBS with PG Degree)
Rs. 65,000/- (MBBS with PG Diploma) 		Provide specialized pediatric services including neonatal and child emergency care, supervise SNCU/child health units, and support FRU clinical management under NHM.
Important Instructions:
  • Selection will be conducted by District Level Selection Committee.
  • Applicants must be permanent resident of West Bengal.
  • Knowledge of local language is mandatory.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible for attending interview.
  • All original documents along with self-attested photocopies must be produced during verification.
  • In case of tie in marks, preference will be given to the candidate senior in age.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on document verification and Walk-in Interview as per NHM contractual recruitment guidelines. Final decision of the competent authority shall be binding.

Application Fee:

Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- for UR category and Rs. 50/- for reserved categories in favour of “DH & FWS, ALIPURDUAR, NON NHM ACCOUNT” payable at Alipurduar.
