Haryana Public Service Commission (Haryana PSC) is inviting online applications for 102 permanent Group-A and Group-B positions under state govt, under HCS (Ex. Br.) and other Allied Services Exam 2026. The closing date for submitting online applications and depositing the required fee is 26-02-2026, by 05:00 PM.

Age Relaxation
  • Scheduled Castes / Backward Classes of Haryana: 5 Years.
  • Disabled persons (PwBD): 5 Years (10 years if belonging to SC/ST/BC/EWS of Haryana), up to maximum 52 years.
  • Wife of disabled military personnel, Widowed/Divorced/Separated/Unmarried Women: 5 Years.
  • Ex-serviceman: Relaxation to the extent of military service plus 3 years.
  • Adhoc/Contract/Daily Wage Employees of Haryana Govt: Relaxation equal to completed years of service on equivalent post, up to maximum 52 years.
Physical Standards for Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)
  • Male: Height 5'7" (170.18 cm); Chest 33" (83.82 cm) unexpanded, 34½" (87.63 cm) with expansion.
  • Female: Height 5'2" (157.50 cm).
  • Note: A chest expansion of 1-½" (3.81 cm) is mandatory for male candidates.
Other Eligibility Conditions
  • Nature of Post: HCS (Ex. Br.) is Group-A; all Allied Services are Group-B permanent posts.
  • Candidates must possess the essential degree on or before the closing date of 26-02-2026.
  • Domicile/Language: Reservation and age relaxations apply only to Haryana residents/domiciles. Candidates from other states will be treated under General category.

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will consist of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination, and Personality Test / Interview.

Preliminary Examination (Screening Stage)

The Preliminary Examination will be conducted only for screening purposes. The marks obtained in this stage will not be counted towards the final selection. It will be conducted on 26-04-2026.

  • Both papers will be objective type and bilingual (English and Hindi).
  • For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
  • Paper II will be qualifying in nature with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
  • The result of Preliminary Examination will be based on marks obtained in Paper I only, provided the candidate scores at least 33% in Paper II.
  • Darkening more than one option for a question will be treated as giving a wrong answer.
  • If none of the five circles is darkened, 0.25 marks will be deducted. If the candidate doesnt wish to answer a question, then the 5th option must be marked.
  • Any candidate not darkening any circle in more than 10% questions will be disqualified.

Based on the Preliminary Examination result, candidates twelve (12) times the number of advertised vacancies, will be admitted to the Main Written Examination.

Main Written Examination

Main Written Examination will be conducted from 27-06-2026 to 29-06-2026. It will be conducted for merit evaluation and will consist of six conventional (essay type) papers.

  • The Main Written Examination will carry a total of 600 marks.
  • Answers will be written in English or Hindi, except language papers.
  • No candidate will be called for Personality Test unless he/she secures at least 45% marks in aggregate of all written papers and minimum 33% marks each in English and Hindi.

Personality Test / Viva-Voce

Interviews will carry 75 marks, and will be held during August / September 2026. Number of Candidates to be called for interviews will be three times the number of advertised posts. Interviews will be a directed and purposive conversation to assess mental qualities, intellectual ability, social traits, leadership, balance of judgment, and interest in current affairs. Final merit will be formed on the basis of combined performance in the Main Written Examination and Interview (675 marks).

Fee Structure :

Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -

  • All Persons of Haryana with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) with at least 40% disability: NIL
  • Candidates belonging to DSC, OSC, BC-A (Non Creamy Layer), BC-B (Non Creamy Layer), ESM, EWS and women candidates of Haryana: Rs. 250/-
  • DESM candidates of Haryana belonging to their vertical category i.e. DSC, OSC, BC-A (Non Creamy Layer), BC-B (Non Creamy Layer), ESM, EWS of Haryana: Rs. 250/-
  • DESM candidates of Haryana belonging to UR category: Rs. 1000/-
  • All remaining candidates: Rs. 1000/-

How to Apply :

Applications must be submitted online by following the steps given below.

  1. Ensure that all eligibility conditions and qualifications are fulfilled on or before the closing date, otherwise the application will not be accepted.
  2. Fill only one online application form. If more than one application is submitted due to unavoidable reasons, ensure that the application with the highest/latest application number is complete in all respects, as only that application will be considered.
  3. Fill the online application form carefully with correct details such as name, father’s/mother’s name, date of birth, category, Aadhaar number, qualifications, marks obtained, passing year, photograph, signature and fee details.
  4. Upload the scanned photograph, scanned signature and all required documents/certificates along with the application form.
  5. Pay the applicable application fee online. After filling the form, check all entered details carefully to ensure correctness.
  6. Take a printout of the filled application form, sign it, and upload the signed copy along with relevant documents to complete the submission.
  7. After successful submission, take another printout of the signed application form uploaded online and keep it safely for future reference.
  8. The hard copy of the application form and uploaded documents is not required to be sent now to the Haryana Public Service Commission; it will be required to be produced only when called for by the Commission.
  9. After final submission, no change in category or any other particulars will be allowed. If a mistake is noticed, a fresh application with fresh fee must be submitted before the closing date.
