DRDO Unit Vehicle Research and Development Organization (VRDE), located at Maharashtra's Ahmednagar (now Ahilyanagar), is inviting applications for a contractual Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) engagement in defence-related research work. A total of 10 vacancies are available, and candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility conditions before applying.
Interested applicants should send their willingness by email on or before 22-02-2026. Walk-in interview and selection process will be conducted during Feb 24-26, 2026. The fellowship involves research support in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering disciplines for advanced mobility and combat vehicle systems.

Mode of Recruitment:
Selection process for VRDE DRDO Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will be conducted through a walk-in-interview procedure. Candidates must first report for document verification as per the scheduled date and time.
After successful scrutiny of eligibility documents, a written test will be held on the same day. Based on the written test performance, shortlisted candidates will be called for the final interview, which may continue on the next day if required. Final selection will be made purely on merit as decided by the selection committee.
