IBPS has released the results of First common Probationary officers (PO) exam held on Sep 18, 2011. The results are declared surprisingly earlier than expected as there were lakhs of applications. Just over a Lakh candidates have been reportedly succeeded in the exam. The results can be seen from This link. You will need to enter Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password to see the result. 

Making further process clear, The successful candidates will receive the scorecard and will be able to apply in any of the 19 participating banks' recruitment processes over the one year of validity of scorecard. The candidate has to meet the eligibility criteria as asked by the recruiting bank to be able to apply for Interview. The candidate may apply to any of the banks over one year of validity. 

If you did not cross the line this time, start preparing for the next common PO exam which is supposed to arrive in Feb-March 2012.
