- Valid approved NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS)) Portal Registration is mandatory.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act in any Government/Public Sector/Private organization are not eligible.
- Candidates from all states may apply.

Mode of Recruitment :
Selection for apprenticeship training will be based purely on merit, calculated from the aggregate marks obtained across all years/semesters of the qualifying examination without any rounding off or additional weightage. In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given to the older candidate, and if the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation examination earlier will be selected. Candidates up to three times the number of notified seats will initially be called for document verification, and further candidates may be called as per requirement.
First preference in selection will be given to land loser candidates whose land was acquired for the Konkan Railway Project. Additionally, candidates belonging to the districts under KRCL jurisdiction (Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg (Maharashtra), North Goa and South Goa (Goa), and Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada (Karnataka)) will be given second preference for enrolment in apprenticeship training.
Fee Structure :

How to Apply :
Apprenticeship training in Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) can be applied for by following the steps given below:
- Prerequisites –
- Active email ID and mobile number.
- Enrolment with verified registered details on the NATS portal. Only candidates who passed out in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 are eligible.
- Fill the application form –
- Complete online registration first. A registration number will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.
- After registration, fill in all required details carefully and submit the application form.
- Enter name, father’s name and date of birth exactly as recorded in the Matriculation/SSC/High School certificate or equivalent certificate.

- Apply only for the training slot matching the latest educational qualification updated on the NATS portal. Application for a wrong slot will be rejected at the document verification stage.

- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and must produce all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies.
