Mode of Recruitment :

The selection procedure will consist of a written test followed by an interview. The process is divided into three stages as :

Stage I: Online Examination (Computer-Based Test)

Candidates will be required to appear for an online examination, referred to as the Computer-Based Test (CBT). This test will comprise 85 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering these five subjects:

• Bengali
• English
• Mathematics (English version only)
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs (English version only)
• Clerical Aptitude (English version only)

There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The full marks for this stage are 85, and the duration of the examination will be 2 hours.

Stage II: Descriptive Written Test

Candidates who qualify in Stage I will have to appear for a descriptive written test. This test carries a total of 50 marks and is qualifying in nature.

Stage III: Interview

Candidates who successfully clear the descriptive written test will be called for an interview. The interview will carry 15 marks and will assess the candidate's suitability for the position.

Fee Structure :

Application fee is Rs 250/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs 650/- for other candidates. Fees should be paid online using debit card, credit card or net banking.

How to Apply :

Online applications should be submitted by due date of 27-02-2025. Before submitting the application, carefully read the instructions. Candidates should complete an online application by entering all of their personal and educational information in the appropriate places, as indicated by their certificates. Applicants must upload a digitized photo and signature in the online application at the appropriate place. A printout of an online application should be kept for future reference.

Mode of Recruitment :

The examination will be worth a total of 100 marks, with 85 marks for the On-Line CBT and 15 marks for the Interview. A Descriptive Written Test (DWT) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), totaling 50 marks, will be qualifying for certain posts.

1. Stage-I: Candidates should appear for the On-Line Computer-Based Test (CBT), consisting of 85 MCQ questions, each worth 1 mark. The subjects are as :

• Bengali or Nepali (for certain posts, candidates must choose one language at the time of application)
• English (Class X standard)
• Mathematics (Class X standard, questions in English only)
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs (questions in English only)
• Clerical Aptitude (questions in English only)

The CBT will have negative marking at a rate of ¼ mark for each incorrect answer. The duration of the CBT is 2 hours..

2. Stage-II:

A) For Candidates Applying for Institutions Requiring Descriptive Written Test (DWT) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT):

• Candidates will appear for the DWT and CPT (50 marks, qualifying in nature). They must secure at least 30% marks (15 marks) to qualify for the interview.
• Qualified candidates will be called for Interview.

B) For Candidates Applying for Institutions Not Requiring DWT:

• Candidates will be selected based on CBT results. The selected candidates will be called for an Interview/Viva-Voce (15 marks).

3. Verification of Testimonials: Candidates provisionally selected for the Interview should provided original documents for verification, along with two self-attested copies. Failure to attend or provide the required documents will result in cancellation of candidature.

4. Total Marks for Final Merit List: The final merit list will be based on the total marks obtained by adding:

• Marks from the On-Line CBT
• Marks from the Interview/Viva-Voce Test
