Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will include a Written Competitive Examination, followed by Document verification and formation of final merit list.
Written Competitive Examination
For selection, a 100-mark objective type (Multiple Choice) written competitive examination of 02 hours duration will be conducted. The examination will be based on a subject-related syllabus according to the post's minimum educational qualification. Each correct answer will carry 01 mark.
There will be a negative marking of 1/4 (0.25) marks for every wrong answer given by the candidate. To qualify, General and OBC category candidates must obtain a minimum of 45% marks, and SC and ST category candidates must obtain a minimum of 35% marks in the written examination.
Final Merit List
The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination, after detailed doc verification.

UKSSSC Recruitment 2026 Assistant Teacher LT (Group C) 128 Posts Online Application
Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) is inviting online applications for permanent recruitment to 128 posts of Assistant Teacher LT (Special Education Teacher) for Primary and Upper Primary levels. Mode of Recruitment :
Selection process for the Special Education Teacher position will consist of Written Examination, Document Verification, and formation of Final Merit List.
Stage 1: Written Competitive Examination
Candidates will be required to undergo a written competitive examination to conducted by UKSSSC. The exam will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions designed to assess the candidate's proficiency in teaching methodology and special education. Performance in this test will be the primary basis for shortlisting candidates for the subsequent rounds of the selection process.
Stage 2: Document Verification
Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam will be called for document verification. During this stage, officials will verify original certificates including the Graduation degree, B.Ed. Special Education marksheet, and the mandatory RCI CRR registration number. It will be ensured that all training qualifications are recognized by either the NCTE or RCI as per the recruitment guidelines.
Stage 3: Final Merit List
A final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination. Selection will be governed by the merit rank and the reservation policies.
