Uttar Dinajpur District Court is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 3 permanent posts of English Stenographer. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online on or before 22-01-2025 , after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria.

Mode of Recruitment :
The examination will consist of three phases:
- Phase I: Screening Test – A 100-mark objective test with 100 questions, each worth 1 mark, conducted over 90 minutes. The syllabus includes General English topics such as spelling, sentence correctness, synonyms, antonyms, punctuation, and common phrases. A penalty of 0.5 marks will apply for each wrong answer. Candidates qualifying this phase will proceed to Phase II and III.
- Phase II: Dictation and Transcription – A 100-mark test where candidates will transcribe shorthand notes (dictated for 5 minutes) in their handwriting over one hour.
- Phase III: Typing Test – A 100-mark test involving typing from a manuscript at 40 w.p.m. on a computer, lasting 10 minutes.
Fee Structure :
Application fee of Rs 600/- is to be paid online using debit card, credit card or net banking.

For Peon : Rs 150/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs 300/- for other candidates
