Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will include evaluation based on the Computer Based Test (CBT) and additional marks as per specific guidelines. The CBT will carry a weightage of 80 marks, calculated using 80% of the percentage obtained by the candidate in the test.
The COVID-19 duty marks will be calculated by dividing the total days of duty by 365 and multiplying by 20 marks. The final merit will be based on the combined marks from CBT and COVID-19 duty weightage, with a maximum total of 100 marks.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process for the posts of Senior Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Technician will be based on a merit system, which includes marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and weightage for relevant work experience. The details of the evaluation process are explained as.

The written competitive examination will be conducted in the form of a Computer Based Test (CBT). The marks scored in this test will be given weightage while preparing the merit list. The CBT will be of 75 marks and the score obtained will be converted into percentage and further evaluated to assign the weightage.
For example, if a candidate secures 50 percent marks in the CBT, the calculation will be done as 50 × 0.8 = 40 marks, which will be considered for merit.

Additional marks will be awarded for service rendered during the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates who worked under health and medical services or in technical roles for COVID-19 prevention and treatment will receive 5 marks for every completed 365 days of service.
