- Crop Improvement Division: M.Sc. in Agriculture / Botany / Zoology from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or GPA 6.0. Two years of relevant research experience.
- Pathology Division: M.Sc. in Agriculture / Microbiology / Zoology from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or GPA 6.0. Two years of relevant research experience.
- Post-Harvest Technology Division: M.Sc. in Post-Harvest Technology / Agricultural Engineering (specialization in Post-Harvest Engg./Processing) / Food Technology / Food Science & Technology / Horticulture (with specialization/experience in post-harvest handling) from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or GPA 6.0. Two years of relevant research experience.
