Puducherry Administration Recruitment 2025 Village Assistant and MTS (Department of Revenue and Disaster Management) 63 Posts Online Application

Puducherry Administration is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 63 permanent posts of Village Assistant and MTS (Department of Revenue and Disaster Management). Mode of Recruitment :

The recruitment for the mentioned post will be conducted through a Common Written Competitive Examination. The written test will be of Secondary Level standard and will consist of one objective-type paper.

This paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. The total duration of the examination will be 2 hours.

A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for every incorrect answer. The question paper will be bilingual, i.e., in English and in one of the regional languages (Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam), except for the section on General English. Applicants must indicate their preferred language for writing the examination during the online application process.

Candidates who are provisionally selected for the post of Village Assistant will be required to appear for a Skill Test on Computer, conducted by DPR&AR, Puducherry. This test will be qualifying in nature and will assess the candidate's ability in basic computer applications.

The Skill Test will involve tasks such as:

  • Typing or reproducing given text/data in MS Word
  • Preparation of tables and use of formulas in MS Excel

The test will be of 30 minutes duration and will carry 100 marks. A minimum of 40 marks out of 100 must be scored to pass the Skill Test.
