Selection Mode:

Fee Structure :

A non-refundable processing fee of ₹1,180 (inclusive of GST) must be paid via Demand Draft. The draft should be made in favor of "DDO/ DDK, Vijayawada" and be payable at Vijayawada.

How to Apply :

Eligible candidates should submit applications in the standard format to the specified address by 20-02-2026. It is necessary to provide three copies of the application along with two sets of supporting documents to be considered.

Prasar Bharati has announced a recruitment drive to fill 1 permanent position of News Reader cum Translator for Regional News Unit (RNU), Akashvani, Pune. Selection process comprises two stages: Written Examination (100 marks) and Interview (100 marks). Written test assesses journalistic and professional capability, and translation skills from Marathi to English and English to Marathi. Minimum qualifying marks in written test: 50 marks. Candidates securing 50 marks and above in written examination will be called for interview. Written examination and interview will be held in Pune.
