Patna High Court invites online applications for 53 permanent Technical Assistant posts (Group-C), offering roles in IT support, system maintenance, and technical operations within the court establishment. Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will comprise Screening/Preliminary Test (to be conducted in case of a large number of eligible applications), Written Test, Trade/Skill Test/Work Proficiency Test, and Interview. Examination centres will be allotted in the city of Patna. If the number of candidates is high, candidates may be required to appear at centres outside Patna.

Screening / Preliminary Test (MCQ based)

A preliminary test will be conducted if a large number of eligible applications are received. It will be objective type with a total of 100 marks, minimum qualifying marks of 40, and duration of 2 hours. Negative marking of 1/4 marks will be applicable for each wrong answer. Marks obtained in this test will not be considered for preparation of the merit list. Ten times the total number of advertised vacancies will be shortlisted for the Written Test.

Written Test (MCQ based)

The test will be objective type with a total of 200 marks, minimum qualifying marks of 80, and duration of 2 hours. Six times the number of advertised vacancies will be shortlisted for the Trade/Skill Test/Work Proficiency Test. Questions will be from Programming Fundamentals, Data Structures, Web Technology & Virtualization, Computer Networks, Computer Organization and Architecture, Hardware Devices Installation and Database.

Trade / Skill Test / Work Proficiency Test

This test will assess the practical knowledge of candidates. It will be of 100 marks with minimum qualifying marks of 40 and duration of 1 hour. Three times the number of advertised vacancies will be shortlisted for the Interview.

Interview

The interview will be of 30 marks with minimum qualifying marks of 9. Candidates will have to qualify all stages for consideration in the final merit list, which will be based on the combined performance in all stages (Except Prelims).
