National Library Kolkata Recruitment 2026 LIS Interns 25 Posts Application Form
National Library, Kolkata is inviting applications for contractual engagement of 25 LIS Interns, and interested candidates must submit their applications before on or before 10-10-2024. Selected candidates will be engaged in library operations such as cataloguing, classification, documentation, and assisting in various academic and technical activities of the library.

Mode of Recruitment :
Selection process involves shortlisting of candidates based on merit (marks obtained in MLIS, BLIS, Graduation, 12th and 10th), followed by an evaluation through written examination (MCQ), practical test (cataloguing and MARC tags), and interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of combined performance in academic qualifications, professional qualifications, written test, practical exam, and interview, with weightage assigned to each stage.
