MPT Recruitment 2026 Dy Manager, Senior Welfare Officer and Various 14 Posts Online Application

Age Conditions
  • Reference dates for unreserved category candidates:
    • For 18–30 years posts: Born between 02-03-1996 to 01-03-2008
    • For 21–35 years posts: Born between 02-03-1991 to 01-03-2005
    • For 21–40 years posts: Born between 02-03-1986 to 01-03-2005
  • Upper age relaxation:
    • PwBD: 10 years
    • Ex-servicemen: As per service rendered
    • Port Authority employees: Up to 55 years
Other Eligibility Conditions
  • Required qualification must be completed as on 01-03-2026.
  • Candidates from all states can apply.
  • If a candidate is eligible for multiple posts, he/she may apply separately. Separate application and fee are required for each post.

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection process will comprise of Online Examination, followed by Document Verification and Interview.

Online Examination

The exam will be objective type and will carry a total of 200 marks with 140 questions. Negative marking of 1/4 marks will be applicable for each wrong answer. The exam will be conducted at centres in Mumbai, Greater Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Palghar. Each candidate will be required to score minimum 35% marks in each section as well as overall to be considered for shortlisting.

Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification followed by Interview. The interview will carry 30 marks. Final selection will be based on the overall performance in the Online Examination and Interview.

Fee Structure :

Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -

  • PwBD Candidates: Rs. 250/- (Intimation Charges Only) + GST @18%
  • All Other Candidates (other than PwBD): Rs. 750/- (Application Fee including Intimation Charges) + GST @18%

How to Apply :

Candidates can apply online for concerned posts in Mumbai Port Authority by following these steps:

  1. Visit the application portal and click on “Apply Online”, then select “Click here for New Registration”.
  2. Enter basic details (name, contact details, email ID) and complete registration. Note down the provisional registration number and password received via screen/email/SMS.
  3. Login using the registration credentials and fill the application form carefully.
  4. Use “Save and Next” to save progress and verify details before final submission.
  5. Ensure that the name and other details match exactly with certificates/ID proof, as no changes will be allowed after final submission.
  6. Click on “Validate your details” and proceed further.
  7. Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per specifications:
    • Photograph: 200 x 230 pixels (preferred), 20 kb – 50 kb, recent passport size with light background.
    • Signature: 140 x 60 pixels, 10 kb – 20 kb.
    • Left thumb impression: 140 x 60 pixels, 20 kb – 50 kb.
    • Declaration: 800 x 400 pixels, 50 kb – 100 kb.
    • File type: JPG/JPEG.
  8. Fill the remaining details in the application form.
  9. Preview the form using the “Preview Tab” and verify all details. Edit if required and ensure all uploaded files are correct.
  10. Click on “Complete Registration” after final verification.
  11. Proceed to “Payment” and pay the application fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards or Mobile Wallets.
  12. Take a printout of the application form and e-receipt for future reference; no need to send the printout at this stage.
