MPESB has announced exam date for 2nd stage test to be held for 500 Subedar and Sub Inspector (MP Police) Exam 2025. Candidates who have successfully qualified in the 1st stage exam will now appear for the 2nd stage test, which will be held on 29-04-2026. Admit cards for 2nd stage exam will be made available well before the exam date, and the same will be updated here accordingly.

The test will comprise two objective-type papers of 300 marks each, with a duration of 2 hours for each paper. Paper 1 will be conducted from 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM, while Paper 2 will be held from 02:30 PM to 04:30 PM. Negative marking of 1/3rd will be applicable in both papers.

Based on the marks obtained in the 2nd stage examination, a category-wise merit list will be prepared. Candidates up to three times the number of vacancies in each category will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview.

The PET will be of 100 marks and will include the following events:

Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in each section of the Physical Efficiency Test to be eligible for the Interview, which will be of 50 marks.

Additionally, candidates shortlisted in the 1st stage test need to submit the fee for appearing in the 2nd stage test by 08-04-2026. Candidates must log in to their MP Online profile to proceed with the 2nd stage exam fee payment.

MPESB has issued result status for the 500 Subedar and Sub Inspector (MP Police) Exam 2025, for which the test was held in January 2026. Candidates who appeared in the concerned test may now check their status and prepare for the upcoming stages accordingly.

MPESB Recruitment 2026 Subedar, Sub Inspector (MP Police) 500 Posts Online Application

Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has invited eligible candidates to apply online for 500 regular posts of Subedar, Sub Inspector (in MP Police). Applications must be submitted before 10-11-2025 after confirming eligibility criteria.

Mode of Recruitment :

All applications will be reviewed, and those who pass the initial shortlisting will be called upon for selection process.

  • The recruitment process will be conducted in the mentioned two stages:
    • Stage I: Preliminary Written Examination (Phase-I) - to be conducted on 09-01-2026.
    • Stage II:
      • Mains. Number of candidates selected for the Mains will be approx ten times the number of total vacancies.
      • Physical Efficiency Test.
      • Interviews.

Fee Structure :

Application fee is 250 for SC/ST/PBC/EWS (MP Domicile), and 500 for Others. It is to be paid online.

When applicable, enter personal and academic details into the online application. Uploading a scanned copy of their photo and signature is required to finish the online application. For later use, keep the printout of the finished online application.
