KMC Recruitment 2026 Walkin for Specialist 77 Posts

Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) is organizing a walk-in interview on 30-01-2026 to fill 77 contractual positions for Specialists in various medical fields. The work involves examining and treating patients in OPD settings with a fixed daily payment. Interested medical professionals must reach the venue with a completed application form and all necessary certificates.

Specialist (G&O), Specialist (Medicine), Specialist (Paediatrics), and Specialist (Ophthalmologist) posts will providing OPD-based clinical services at KMC polyclinics, including patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment as per the respective medical specialties. The engagement is purely on a contractual basis under the XV Finance Commission Health Grant through walk-in-interview, with fixed daily remuneration.

Selection Mode:

The selection process consists of a walk-in interview and a screening of the applications submitted by the candidates. During the interview, the panel will evaluate the professional knowledge and clinical expertise of the applicants. The screening stage involves checking all provided documents to ensure they meet the age, qualification, and registration requirements. Only candidates who successfully pass the document verification will be considered for the final selection based on their interview performance.
