High Court of Kerala (Kerala HC) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 17 permanent posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division). Preliminary examination : 18-05-2025
Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will consist of three stages: the preliminary examination, the main examination, and the viva voce test.
The preliminary examination will include a single paper comprising 100 multiple-choice questions, with a total weightage of 200 marks. Candidates will be given a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete this exam. This stage serves as a screening test to shortlist candidates for the next phase.
The main examination will consist of four separate papers, each carrying 100 marks. The time allotted for each paper will be 3 hours. This stage is intended to evaluate candidates in greater depth, testing their proficiency in relevant subjects.
The final stage of the selection process will be the viva voce test, which will carry a total of 50 marks.
Fee Structure :
The application fee is exempted for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories. However, for all other candidates, an application fee of Rs. 1250/- is applicable.
The payment of fees should be made online through any of the available digital payment methods, including debit cards, credit cards, or net banking.

Mode of Recruitment :
Selection will be based on an Objective Test, a Descriptive Test, and an interview. The Objective Test will carry 100 marks and will be answered on an OMR Answer Sheet, while the Descriptive Test will be worth 60 marks and will be written on separate answer sheets.
Fee Structure :
Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Unemployed Differently Abled candidates with benchmark disabilities are exempt from paying the application fee.
The application fee of Rs 500/- is to be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
