JKSSB Recruitment 2025 Accounts Assistant 600 Posts Online Application
Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) is accepting online applications for 600 regular posts of Accounts Assistant (Finance Department). Candidates must ensure they meet eligibility requirements before applying by 06-01-2026.

Graduation in any stream is required (50% marks for Open Merit, 45% for Reserved). Candidates with a Postgraduate degree (50% marks) or a PhD are also eligible.
Note : Only Local residents of Jammu and Kashmir UT are eligible to apply (valid domicile certificate required).

- For others - Rs 600

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process includes Written Test, Physical Standard Test and Physical Endurance Test.
Written Test
The examination will have Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions in English, with negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned for each wrong answer. NCC certificate holders receive bonus marks as shown :
- NCC “C” Certificate: 5% of maximum marks
- NCC “B” Certificate: 3% of maximum marks
- NCC “A” Certificate: 2% of maximum marks

Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen according to age is:

- Above 30–40 years:
- Male: 1600 m in 7½ minutes, 16 push-ups
- Female: 1000 m in 7½ minutes, shot put 12½ ft
- Above 40 years:
- Male: 1600 m in 8½ minutes, 12 push-ups
- Female: 1000 m in 8½ minutes, shot put 10½ ft
Selected candidates will have to undergo Detailed medical examination (DME), before formation of final merit list.
