Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is inviting applications for apprenticeship engagement on a contract basis, in its Pipelines Division. A total of 394 vacancies are available, and the last date to submit the application is 10-02-2026. Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process consists of registration on the NAPS/NATS portal, preparation of a merit list, and final selection based purely on merit.
Merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification, calculated from all subjects and all semesters/years. For candidates having CGPA/OGPA/Letter Grade, equivalent percentage must be entered as per the norms of the concerned Board, University or Institute. Supporting conversion certificates must be produced during document verification. If no official conversion formula exists, the average of grade scores of all semesters or years will be considered. There will be no written test or personal interview.
In case of equal merit, preference will be given to:
- Older candidate (earlier date of birth)
- Higher marks in Matriculation, if date of birth is same

- First, candidates must register themselves as an Apprentice according to their qualification:
- Trade Apprentice: Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices)/Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders) at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- Technician Apprentice: (Mechanical/Electrical/Telecommunication & Instrumentation) at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource/Accountant) at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
- After registration, log in to the respective NAPS or NATS portal using your User ID or Email ID.
- While applying, candidates must select the apprenticeship opportunity of Indian Oil Corporation Limited using the correct Establishment ID mentioned below.

- The apprenticeship application must be completed between 28-01-2026 and 10-02-2026.
- Before applying, candidates must ensure that their personal details, educational qualification, category and aggregate percentage of marks are correctly updated in the NAPS/NATS portal.
- After applying through NAPS/NATS, candidates must complete the application separately on the Indian Oil Pipelines portal.
- The registration process on the Indian Oil Pipelines portal includes two steps:
- Part I – Registration
- Part II – Final submission
- During Part II, candidates must upload:
- Colour photograph in JPG format (20 KB to 50 KB)
- Signature in black ink in JPG format (10 KB to 30 KB)
- Educational qualification and experience details must be filled carefully.
- After final submission, no changes or corrections will allowed.
- Candidates must enter their NAPS/NATS registration or enrolment number in the application form.
- After successful submission, candidates should take a printout of the application form for future reference.
- The printed copy is not required to be sent to Indian Oil Pipelines Company at present. Candidates may keep one copy safely for future use.
