Mode of Recruitment :
The method of selection will consist of two phases: Phase I – Objective Type Test and Phase II – Practical Test.
Method of Selection and Marks:
Phase I: Objective Type Test – 30 marks
Phase II: Practical Test – 70 marks (based on grades obtained in the practical test)
Total: 100 mark
Fee Structure :
Application fee of Rs 300/- is to be paid online.

Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited (HCSL) is accepting online applications from eligible candidates for 5 contractual posts of Apprentices. Interested individuals must apply before 08-01-2026 after ensuring compliance with eligibility norms.
The apprenticeship at Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited involves one year of hands on industrial training for ITI trade certificate holders. Selected apprentices will gain practical experience in shipbuilding and ship repair related trades under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

Mode of Recruitment :
Candidates will be shortlisted for document verification based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination. The final selection of candidates will be made purely on the basis of merit.
