Prelims Exam
Preliminary Examination will be conducted in OMR/CBRT mode with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
This test is only for screening and the marks of the preliminary examination will not be counted for preparing the final merit list.
Each question carries 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for all categories.

Mode of Recruitment :
The preliminary examination will be held in OMR or computer based mode with multiple choice questions. It will serve only as a screening test, and the marks scored in this stage will not be counted for the final merit list. The paper will have 150 questions of one mark each, and a deduction of 0.25 mark will be applied for every wrong response. Candidates must secure at least 40 percent marks to qualify. The prelims paper on General Studies will be of two hours duration.
The mains examination will be descriptive and will include two papers. The final merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of marks obtained in these papers. Each paper will have a minimum qualifying mark of 40 percent. PwD candidates will receive compensatory time of twenty minutes per hour. The first paper will cover Gujarati and English language for 100 marks, and the second paper will cover Accountancy and Auditing for 100 marks. Both papers will be of three hours duration.
Fee Structure :
The application fee must be paid online as per the prescribed structure. For the preliminary examination, the fee is ₹500 for male candidates of the unreserved category, while all reserved category candidates including women, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD and Ex-Servicemen need to pay ₹400. For the main examination, the fee is ₹600 for unreserved male candidates and ₹500 for all reserved category candidates.
