Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2025 Library Assistant (Judicial Academy Assam) 1 Post Online Application
Gauhati High Court is accepting applications for 1 permanent post of Library Assistant (Judicial Academy Assam). Eligible candidates should submit their online applications before 30-10-2025.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will be conducted in two stages to ensure a fair assessment of all applicants. The first stage is a written examination carrying a total of 120 marks. This test will be objective in nature with multiple choice questions and will have a duration of two hours. It will cover four sections: General Knowledge with 40 marks, Library Science with 40 marks, General Aptitude with 20 marks and Assamese with 20 marks.
The Assamese section is qualifying only, and the marks from this part will not be included while preparing the merit list. Candidates must score at least 40 percent, which is 8 marks out of 20, in the Assamese section to be considered qualified in the written test. Those who do not meet this minimum will not move forward in the process.
The second stage consists of an interview or viva voce carrying 20 marks. Candidates who rank highest in the written examination, up to three times the number of available posts, will be shortlisted for this stage. This approach ensures that only the most eligible candidates are considered for the final round.
Fee Structure :
Application fee is nil for Pwd, Rs 250/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs 500/- for other candidates. Fees can be paid online using debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.
