Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) is inviting eligible applicants to appear for a walk-in interview for 200 contractual positions of Technical Officer across various categories. The walk-in selection will be held on 24-02-2026, and candidates must ensure that they meet all eligibility criteria before attending the selection process.

The posts are offered on a fixed tenure contract basis initially for one year, extendable up to four years based on project requirements and satisfactory performance. The role involves responsibilities in production, industrial operations, maintenance, testing, and other related technical functions across ECIL’s business verticals at Hyderabad.

Full-time BE/B.Tech in CSE/IT from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks (aggregate).

Full-time BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/ Industrial Production Engineering discipline from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks (aggregate).

Age Relaxation:
  • SC – 5 Years
  • ST – 5 Years
  • OBC (NCL) – 3 Years
  • PwBD – 10 Years (additional as per category)
Contract Tenure:
  • On contract basis for 01 Year. Extendable up to 04 Years (including initial term) based on performance and project requirement.

Selection Mode:

The selection process will consist of Registration, Document Verification, and Personal Interview. After registration, candidates will undergo successful document verification. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to attend Interviews.

Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated based on Personal Interview and final recommendations will be made as per the merit (A+B+C) through the following criteria.

Qualification 20% of aggregate percentage in B.E./B.Tech.
Relevant Experience (For ‘Technical Officer on Contract’) 30 Marks (10 marks for initial 1 year experience and 10 marks for each additional year, maximum up to 30 marks including initial one)
Personal Interview 50 Marks
  • Apprenticeship in the relevant field (maximum of one year) will also be considered as experience.
  • Experience from Academic Institutions / Colleges / Internship / Project work will not be considered and will be excluded for calculation of Post-Qualification experience.

Application Fee:

No application fee is required to be paid for attending this walk-in recruitment drive.

How to Attend :

For the post of Technical Officer on Contract, candidates have to attend the walk-in selection process directly at the venue with required documents.
  1. Download the prescribed Application Form from the official website of Electronics Corporation of India Limited and fill it carefully.
  2. Report at the Walk-In Venue: Corporate Learning & Development Centre, Nalanda Complex, Electronics Corporation of India Limited, ECIL Post, Hyderabad – 500062, on 24-02-2026 (Tuesday). Registration at the venue will be conducted from 09:00 hrs to 11:30 hrs.
  3. Required Docs Include -
    1. Duly filled Application Form and updated resume along with original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
    2. 10th Class certificate or School Leaving Certificate as proof of Date of Birth.
    3. Qualification documents including Degree/Certificate and Marks Sheets.
    4. Experience certificates from previous employment clearly mentioning duration (from & to dates) and post held. If currently employed, produce Appointment Order and first as well as latest pay slips.
    5. If applying under reserved categories, bring Category Certificate (EWS/OBC/SC/ST). In case of OBC, certificate should not be older than one year from the date of selection and must contain Non-Creamy Layer clause. Candidates with Non-Creamy Layer certificate are eligible only under OBC category.
    6. Government issued Identity Proof such as Aadhaar, Passport, etc.
    7. If applicable, bring valid PwBD certificate, Discharge certificate in case of Ex-servicemen, or relevant certificate for age relaxation (including candidates from J&K) .
  4. There is no requirement to send any printed application to Electronics Corporation of India Limited in advance. However, candidates should keep one copy of the filled application form for their own future reference.
