DECT Assam Recruitment 2026 Junior Instructor 95 Posts Online Application

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will consist of two important phases designed to assess the knowledge, skills, and suitability of the candidates for the respective posts.
Phase I: Written Test
Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type written test. This test will be conducted in Guwahati. The duration of the written test will be two hours. The test will carry a total of 100 marks, consisting of 100 MCQs. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
The written test will include the given sections:

Phase II: Skill Test
For every vacancy, a ratio of 1:4 candidates will be shortlisted category wise based on their performance in the written test. The shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for a Skill Test in their respective trade or subject, which will also be conducted in Guwahati.
The Skill Test will carry a total of 50 marks. The final merit list will be prepared separately for each post and category, based on the total marks scored in both the Written Test and the Skill Test combined.

Online applications are invited for the concerned posts in Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training Assam (DECT Assam), to be submitted no later than 03-10-2025. Printed documents are not needed at this stage. It is recommended to keep a personal copy.
