Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 69 permanent posts of Scientist B, UDC, Assistant and Various. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online on or before 28-04-2025 , after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria.

Online Application forms will be received by : 28-04-2025.

 

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection of candidates will be carried out through a written examination. The written test will be conducted in OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) format and will have a duration of 2 hours.

Detailed information regarding the examination, including the date, time, and venue, will be provided to the candidates through the admit card in due course.

 

Fee Structure :

Type Total Charge
Two hours exam Rs. 750 as examination fee + Rs. 250 as test session charge = Rs. 1000
One hour exam Rs. 350 as examination fee + Rs. 150 as test session charge = Rs. 500

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), Ex-Servicemen, and all women candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee. However, all applicants are required to complete the registration process and pay the applicable test session charge at the time of registration.

The test session charges are as : Rs. 250 for the two-hour test and Rs. 150 for the one-hour test. This fee is mandatory for all candidates, regardless of their category.

 

How to Apply :

Eligible and interested candidates must complete applications only through an online facility by the due date of 28-04-2025. All related details must be maintained carefully. Candidates are required to upload scanned photos and signatures online. A copy of the filled-in application form must be kept for future use. Only eligible candidates will be chosen for the next round of selection.
