Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2026 – 222 Group C Posts

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Municipal Corporation (Earlier Aurangabad Municipal Corporation) has released a recruitment notification for recruitment to 222 Group-C posts across engineering, fire services, health, accounts and technical departments. Eligible candidates may submit online applications on or before 31-03-2026.

The recruitment aims to strengthen municipal services including infrastructure management, fire safety operations, sanitation, veterinary services and administrative functions.

Selection Process:

The selection process will consist of an Online Examination, Physical Eligibility Test (for applicable posts), Document Verification, and other conditions as prescribed.

Online Examination

The online examination will be conducted for all posts. The question paper will include Marathi, English, General Knowledge, Intellectual Ability, and subject-related questions based on the educational qualification and nature of the post.

The exam date will be announced in due course, and the admit card will be made available 7 days prior to exam.

Physical Eligibility Test

For Fire Department posts (Sub Fire Officer, Driver Mechanic, and Fireman), a Physical Eligibility Test will be conducted, carrying 100 marks.

Document Verification

Candidates who qualify in the exam will be required to appear for document verification. They must produce a printout of the application form along with a valid identity proof (such as PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, etc.) and all required original documents and certificates for verification. Final merit will be formed and published after detailed detailed doc verification.

Application Fee:

Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -

• Open Category Candidates: ₹1,000/-
• Orphan and Backward Category Candidates: ₹900/-
• Candidates applying for more than one post must pay a separate fee for each application.

11. If required, corrections can be made before final submission. No changes may be allowed after submission.
12. Submit the application form after verifying all details.
13. Complete the fee payment through online modes such as debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI:

    • Reserved category: 900
    • Fee is non-refundable
14. The application will be considered complete only after successful fee payment.
15. There is no need to send the printed application to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation at this stage. Candidates may keep a printout for future reference.
