| Project Description | This project focuses on creating a special digital library that identifies healing plants using their unique genetic codes, similar to how a barcode identifies items in a shop. By studying the plants kept in the Mettur Dam garden, the research helps make sure the correct plants are used for traditional Siddha medicine. This research is funded by the IMR (Intramural Research) Project, CCRS, Ministry of Ayush to help protect natural heritage and ensure that herbal treatments are safe and authentic. |
