Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) invites applications from qualified professionals for 3 contractual positions of Technical Assistant. Candidates with the required academic background and experience are encouraged to submit their applications online before 30-01-2026.
Technical Assistant – Health Care (TA-01) will support AI and public health activities under the Grand Challenges India (GCI) program, including coordinating program tasks, assisting in project management, handling data analysis, report preparation, and administrative support.
Technical Assistant (TA-02) will provide technical, scientific, and programmatic support for GCI, managing the grant lifecycle, supporting the online portal, screening applications, coordinating peer reviews, compiling data, and liaising with grantees.
Both positions are contractual under the DBT–Gates Foundation GCI initiative, implemented through the PMU at BIRAC, for an initial period of three years or co-terminus with the project (currently till June 2027), whichever is earlier, extendable based on performance and project continuation.
