Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is inviting applications for contract-based Apprenticeship training for 61 posts for 2026–2027 session. The last date for registering on the portal is 02-03-2026. The apprenticeship is offered for a duration of one year in various ITI trades under Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT). Selected candidates will undergo structured practical training in the respective trade as per the prescribed apprenticeship guidelines.

Candidates willing to gain new industry-level hands-on experience in the related field may opt for the apprenticeship. It will enhance their employment opportunities and improve their chances of securing jobs in the relevant sector.

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection will be carried out through shortlisting based on the marks obtained in SSC (10th standard) with specific consideration of Mathematics and Science, along with the marks secured in the ITI examination in the relevant trade. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of these academic scores. Candidates will be allotted seats in the respective trades strictly according to their position in the merit list and the availability of seats in each trade.

Fee Structure :

No Application fee is to be paid for this recruitment drive.

How to Apply :

Candidates must apply online through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal. The complete step-wise application process is given below as per the notification:

  1. Visit the NAPS portal and create profile by registering with the required basic details. Complete the profile carefully by filling in all necessary personal, educational, and trade details.
  2. Upload the required documents, including Biodata, Bank details, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Photograph, and ITI last semester Marksheet.
  3. Verify all the entered details before final submission, as shortlisting will be based on SSC (Mathematics & Science) marks and ITI marks uploaded on the portal.
  4. Submit the application on or before 02-03-2026.
  5. No printed copy of the application is required to be sent to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) at this stage.
  6. Candidates may keep a printout or saved copy of the submitted application for future reference.
