Assam Engineering Service Recruitment Board (AESRB) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 6 permanent posts of Assistant Professor (Non Technical). Interested and eligible candidates may apply online on or before 22-04-2025 , after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria.

Mode of Recruitment :
The recruitment process will consist of two stages: an OMR-based Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) written examination carrying 75 marks, followed by a Teaching Proficiency Test carrying 25 marks.
The written examination will include 75 objective-type questions, with each correct answer awarded 1 (one) mark. The questions will be OMR-based, and the total marks for this stage will be 75.
Only those candidates who are shortlisted based on their performance in the written examination will be called to appear for the Teaching Proficiency Test.
Fee Structure :
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/BPL/PwD are exempted from payment of application fee.
Application fees of Rs 250/- (Rs 150/- for OBC candidates) is to be paid online using debit card, credit card or net banking.
How to Apply :
Applications for positions can be submitted online using the provided facility on or before 22-04-2025. Read the instructions very carefully before beginning to fill out the application. The applicant has to include all of their personal and educational information in the appropriate areas of the online application, which is organised according to the certificates they have. Applicants are required to provide a scanned photo of themselves along with their signatures when submitting their applications online. It is recommended that a hard copy of the application that was submitted online be kept for future use.

Mode of Recruitment :
The recruitment process will consist of these stages:
- OMR-MCQ based Written Examination – 75 Marks
- Teaching Proficiency Test – 25 Marks
The OMR-MCQ based question paper will comprise 75 questions, with each correct answer carrying 1 mark. A negative marking of 0.25 marks (one-fourth) will be applied for each incorrect answer.
Only candidates who qualify in the written examination will be shortlisted for the Teaching Proficiency Test. The verification of original documents for shortlisted candidates will be conducted on the day of the Teaching Proficiency Test.
Fee Structure :
Applicants are required to pay an application fee as per the these details:
- General candidates: Rs. 250.00
- OBC candidates: Rs. 150.00
The payment must be made through the designated payment gateway available in the online facility. Candidates belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) /PwBD/ SC/ST categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
