Ammunition Factory Khadki (a unit of Munitions India Ltd) invites applications for engagement of Contract-based General Stream Graduate Apprentices for a total of 40 vacancies in various streams. The last date for receipt of application is 04-03-2026 (14 days of date of publishing of notice).

The apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year, providing practical exposure and hands-on experience to fresh graduates in streams such as BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, and BBA in factory and administrative functions. Applicants must carefully verify their eligibility and compliance with all prescribed conditions before submitting the application.

Apprenticeship training generally improves employment prospects, especially in related trades or fields, because it provides hands-on, on-the-job experience in a real work environment. This practical exposure is often considered relevant experience for entry-level roles and gives candidates an added advantage.

Degree in relevant General Stream (BA / BSc / BCom / BCA / BBA) from a recognized University.

Distance / Part-Time / Correspondence qualifications are not accepted.

Rs. 12,300/- per month (Consolidated Stipend)
Age Relaxation:
  • As per Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules and Government norms.
Training Period:
  • One Year Apprenticeship Training (Contract-based).
Stipend Structure:
  • 50% by Government through DBT and 50% by Establishment as per NATS 2.0 guidelines.
Other Eligibility Conditions:
  • Only fresh pass-out candidates are eligible for apprenticeship training within three years of completing their General Stream Graduation.
  • Final year / Result awaited students are not eligible.
  • If gap between date of declaration of result and date of commencement of training is more than 1 year, an affidavit on stamp paper duly signed by Magistrate/Notary has to be submitted, as per format enclosed as Annexure B of Notice.
  • Candidates having one year or more job experience after graduation are not eligible.
  • Prior apprenticeship training under Apprenticeship Act makes candidate ineligible.
  • Registration on NATS portal (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS)) is mandatory (https://nats.education.gov.in).
  • Candidates from all states may apply.
  • Candidate can apply for only one stream (one Group Code).

Dates to Consider:

Application forms must be sent by post so as to reach the concerned address by 04-03-2026. Notably, the last date to receive the application is within 14 days from the date of publication of this notice, i.e., 18-02-2026.

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of merit formed on the basis of marks obtained in Graduation (final year). Selected candidates will have to produce the following documents during Document Verification:

  • Copy of Aadhaar Card as ID Proof.
  • Copy of SSC Mark Sheet and SSC Certificate.
  • Copy of Mark Sheet along with Certificate of Final Year of General Stream Graduation (front as well as back side).
  • Copy of Caste and Validity Certificate, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for OBC candidate, PH Certificate for Physically Handicapped candidates, as applicable.
  • Declaration on plain paper or Declaration Affidavit on stamp paper (Non-Judicial), as applicable.

Candidates found cleared in Document Verification will be called for Medical Examination after due Police Verification, before joining.

Fee Structure :

No Application fee is to be paid.

How to Apply :

Eligible candidates are required to apply by following the steps outlined below:

  1. Complete registration on the NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/) prior to submission of the application, as registration status will be verified at the time of Document Verification.
  2. Download the prescribed Application Form (Annexure–A) and fill it carefully in CAPITAL LETTERS.
  3. Affix a recent self-attested passport size photograph (approximately 3.5 x 4.5 cm) in the designated space provided in the application form.
  4. Enter all required details accurately, including stream selection (only one stream/group code), personal information, educational qualifications, Aadhaar number, and contact details.
  5. Attach self-attested copies of necessary documents, including Aadhaar Card, SSC Mark Sheet & Certificate, Final Year Graduation Mark Sheet & Certificate (both front and back), and applicable caste/validity/NCL/PH certificates.
  6. Complete and sign the Declaration section. In case the gap between passing the qualifying examination and joining exceeds one year, an affidavit on Non-Judicial stamp paper in the prescribed format must be submitted.
  7. Place the duly filled application form in a sealed envelope and clearly superscribe: “Application for the post of General Stream Graduate Apprentice (Group Code ___)” according to the respective stream.
  8. Send the physical application by post to the prescribed address so as to reach within 14 days from the publication of the advertisement dated 18-02-2026, i.e., on or before 04-03-2026.
  9. Retain a copy of the completed application form for future reference.
