| Project Description | This ICMR-funded project at AIIMS Bibinagar focuses on the rising threat of antimicrobial resistance in hospital settings. The research involves decoding carbapenem resistant-hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae by performing detailed clinical and laboratory characterisation. Rephrasing is done to analyze the genetic and phenotypic traits that allow these bacteria to resist powerful antibiotics while causing severe infections. The study aims to develop an artificial intelligence-based clinical decision support system to predict patient outcomes, allowing doctors to make faster and more accurate treatment choices for life-threatening respiratory and bloodstream infections. |
