• Three Years Graduate degree in relevant subject/field + three years post qualification experience OR
• PG in relevant subject/field.
• For Engineering/IT/CS: Four Years Graduate Degree.
  • Desirable: Relevant degrees in Social Science/Anthropology/Nutrition; prior experience of having worked in funded field-based research projects related to health systems/health services.

• Three Years Graduate in relevant subject/field + Three Years experience OR PG in relevant subject/field.
• For Engineering/IT/CS: First Class Post Graduate Degree + Three Years Experience.

A written test will be conducted if the number of applicants exceeds 30.
Qualifying scores: UR/OBC/EWS: 40% and SC/ST: 35%
Based on the written test results, a maximum of five candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, in descending order of scores.
Final selection will be made either:

• On the combined score of the written test and interview (if both are conducted), or
• Exclusively on the basis of the interview (if no written test is held).

• Scientist-C (Medical/Non-Medical)/ Research Officer (1 Post) :
  • Medical: MBBS with 6 years experience OR PG Diploma after MBBS with 5 years experience OR PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MPH) after MBBS with 4 years research experience.
  • Desirable: Doctorate (Ph.D.) in relevant subject (Community Medicine/Preventive & Social Medicine/Pediatrics/Medicine/Tropical Medicine/Community Health Administration/Health Administration/Family Medicine/Epidemiology/Public Health); Additional post-doctoral research/teaching experience; Knowledge of Computer Applications/Data Management.
  • Non-Medical: M.Sc. Life science/MPH/MHA/M.Pharma/Pharm.D with 4 years experience in relevant area.
  • Desirable: Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with 2 years R&D/Teaching experience; Knowledge of Computer Applications/Business Intelligence tools/Data Management.
• Field Investigator (1 Post) :
  • Graduate in Science/relevant subjects with 3 years work experience OR Master's degree in relevant subject OR Pharm.D.
  • Desirable: Master of Public Health (MPH) degree.

• Scientist-C (Medical/Non-Medical)/ Research Officer : Rs. 67,000 + HRA per month
• Field Investigator : Rs. 32,000 (all inclusive) per month

• Scientist-C: maximum 40 years
• Field Investigator: maximum 35 years
