Airports Authority of India (AAI) is inviting applications for 133 apprenticeship positions (Graduate/Diploma/ITI) under a one-year contract-based training program across Northern Region airports. The last date to apply is 22-03-2026. For this apprenticeship recruitment, only candidates who are domiciles of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are eligible to apply.

These roles provide technical and operational training in disciplines such as Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, and ITI trades, offering valuable hands-on experience in airport infrastructure and aviation-related functions. Such experience is highly beneficial for enhancing skills and improving future employment prospects.

Qualification
  • Graduate Apprentice: Full-time 4-year Engineering Degree in relevant discipline or BCA from AICTE recognized institute/university.
  • Diploma Apprentice: Full-time 3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline from AICTE recognized institute.
  • ITI Trade Apprentice: ITI/NCVT Certificate in Computer Operator Programming Assistant or Steno trade from recognized institute.
Age Conditions
  • Minimum age is 18 years and Maximum age is 26 years as on 31-03-2026.
  • Candidate must be born between 01-04-2000 to 31-03-2008
  • Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD categories applicable as per govt guidelines.
Other Eligibility Conditions
  • Only candidates domiciled in Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are eligible.
  • Candidates must have passed Degree/Diploma in or after 2022.
  • Final year candidates are not eligible.
  • Candidates who have already completed or are undergoing apprenticeship are not eligible.
  • Candidates with 1 year or more experience after qualification are not eligible.
  • Applying for more than one discipline/post is not allowed.

Mode of Recruitment :

Provisional selection of candidates will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of a tie, date of birth will be considered for determining seniority.

Eligible candidates will be called for document verification, and communication will be sent through registered email IDs only. Final selection will be made after successful verification of documents and subject to candidates being found medically fit.

Selected candidates will be posted preferably in Northern Region and Madhya Pradesh based on their registration location (on NATS/NAPS portal). Selected apprentices will be required to sign and accept the contract of apprenticeship training on the NATS (for Diploma/Graduate) or NAPS (for ITI) portal after joining. The contract will automatically cease upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Fee Structure :

No Application fee is to be paid for this recruitment drive.

How to Apply :

Interested candidates can apply online through the official apprenticeship portal by selecting the correct establishment details. It is advisable to read all instructions carefully and keep the necessary information ready before starting the application process.

  1. Register on the appropriate portal as per qualification:
    • Graduate/Diploma candidates should register on the NATS portal
    • ITI Trade candidates should register on the NAPS portal
  2. After successful registration, login using credentials to proceed further.
  3. Search for the establishment: Airports Authority of India – RHQ NR, New Delhi on the portal.
  4. Select the correct establishment using the following codes:
    • NATS: NDLSWC000002
    • NAPS: E05200700101
  5. Click on the apply option available for the selected establishment.
  6. Fill in all the required details carefully and review the information before submission to avoid any errors.
  7. Submit the application form online and ensure that the process is completed successfully.
  8. After submission, a confirmation message will be displayed on the screen indicating successful application.
  9. Further updates, if any, will be shared on registered email ID.
  10. No hard copy of the application is required to be sent to Airports Authority of India (AAI). However, candidates are advised to keep a copy of the submitted application form for future reference
