NMDC Limited, a Navaratna PSU under the Ministry of Steel, is inviting applications for 59 contractual posts of Junior Engineer (Mining), with the last date to apply being 06-05-2026. Candidates are advised to ensure eligibility compliance and fulfill all prescribed conditions before applying.
The post involves mining operations and supervision roles across NMDC projects, including on-ground execution and technical support functions. Selected candidates may be deployed at various mines/units as per organizational requirements.

Mode of Recruitment :
Selection process will be conducted through a Supervisory Skill Assessment. Candidates will first undergo document verification, and only those whose documents are found valid and in accordance with the prescribed eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear for the assessment. Final selection will be based on the performance in this assessment, and a merit list will be prepared accordingly.
Candidates shortlisted for the Supervisory Skill Assessment must present original documents/testimonials, along with self-attested photocopies, to verify eligibility criteria such as Date of Birth, educational qualifications, caste/category, and other required details.
Fee Structure :
Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -
- General / OBC (NCL) / EWS: ₹250/-
- SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Departmental Candidates: Exempted (No fee)
How to Apply :
Applications are to be submitted online only by following these steps -
- Visit the official NMDC careers section and register online on or before 06-05-2026 (11:45 PM).
- Fill in all required details carefully in the online application form.
- Upload necessary documents including photograph, signature, 10th certificate, qualification certificates, and category certificate (if applicable).
- Pay the application fee online using UPI, credit card, or net banking (if applicable).
- After successful payment, ensure that the application form with transaction number and application number is generated.
- Download and keep a printout of the application form for future reference; it is not required to send it to NMDC at this stage.
