NMDC Limited, a Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, is inviting applications for 23 contractual positions at its Tokisud North Coal Mine located in the Hazaribagh District of Jharkhand. Candidates must ensure they meet all mandatory eligibility criteria regarding qualification and experience before applying. Last date for applying online is 17-02-2026.
The recruitment is for an initial period of up to 3 years. These roles involve critical statutory and operational responsibilities such as shift management, safety oversight, production supervision, and the maintenance of heavy machinery in a large-scale open cast coal mining environment.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process for the contractual positions will consist of a Walk-in drive involving Document Verification, followed by an Interview.
Candidates will be issued an admit card to attend the Walk-in drive. They must produce original documents and testimonials, along with self-attested photocopies, to verify their eligibility regarding date of birth, qualification, experience, and caste category. Candidates with valid documents will be permitted to proceed to the interview stage.
Selection will be made by a duly constituted committee through a Walk-in Interview to assess the suitability of eligible candidates. The interview will be held during the 1st week of March 2026 at Ranchi (Jharkhand). Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email and SMS regarding the interview details.
Fee Structure :
Application fee of Rs 500 is to be paid by all candidates, through available online modes. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen categories and departmental candidates applying online are exempted from payment of fee.
How to Apply :
NMDC Limited applications must be submitted online, through the mentioned process.
- Fill in all required details correctly and upload necessary documents/certificates, such as:
- Recent passport size photograph
- Matriculation/10th certificate
- Certificates supporting Qualification and Experience
- Caste/Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS) or Disability/Ex-Serviceman certificate, if applicable
- Scanned signature
- Valid mobile number and email ID
- The application fee (if applicable) must be paid online. After successful payment, the application form will be generated with a Unique Transaction Number and Application Number.
- After applying, candidates should download the system-generated Application/Registration form and keep a printout for their own future record (no need to send any print copy to NMDC Limited at this stage).
- Only one application should be submitted. If multiple applications are submitted, the latest one will be considered final and earlier ones will be rejected.
