Bank of Maharashtra has announced list of finally selected candidates for its recruitment of 457 PO posts for which applications were made by IBPS PO CWE Qualified Candidates in Feb-Mar 2012.
Bank of Maharashtra Later Interviewed a total of 1900 shortlisted candidates for Interviews organized in Start of June 2012.
Bank of Maharashtra has now announced list of Only 242 candidates finally selected for appointment as POs in BOM. The list of finally selected candidates can be seen here.
Date of Joining is set at Aug 1, 2012. However, selected candidates need to confirm their willingness to join the bank by July 23, 2012.
Selected candidates are expected to receive their appointment letters in the days to come.
It is to be seen if the bank will pick people from the waiting list or will conduct fresh Interviews for reamaining 215 Posts.
With conducting of second round of Interviews by Indian Bank, Corporation bank and issuance of a second waiting list by other banks such as Union Bank of India, it has become apparent that banks have started feeling adverse impacts of multiple selections of a single candidate.
The scenario is expected to improve from the next CWE onwards owing to some reformative measures decided upon by IBPS and Banks during a recent meeting of them.
