RBI Recruitment 2026 Junior Engineer 11 Posts Online Application

Mode of Recruitment :
Selection will be conducted through an online examination followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The online examination will carry 300 marks and include English Language, Engineering Discipline Paper I, Engineering Discipline Paper II, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The total duration will be 150 minutes, with negative marking of one-fourth marks for each wrong answer. Candidates must qualify in each section separately.
Approximately five times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted from the online examination for the next stage. Provisionally selected candidates will undergo the Language Proficiency Test in the official or local language of the concerned zone. Those not proficient in the language will be disqualified. Final selection will be based on merit in the online examination, qualifying in LPT, medical fitness, and certificate verification.

Fee Structure :
SC, ST, PwBD, and EXS candidates must pay Rs. 50/- plus 18% GST as intimation charges. OBC, General, and EWS candidates must pay Rs. 450/- plus 18% GST as examination fee and intimation charges. Staff candidates are exempted from payment. Bank transaction charges for online payment will be borne by the candidate.
How to Apply :
Candidates are required to complete the online application process by following the step-by-step instructions given below.
- Scan the required documents including photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per specifications.
- Visit the RBI recruitment portal and click on the link “Recruitment for the Post of Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) - Panel Year 2026.”
- Select “Click here for New Registration” and enter name, contact details, and a valid personal email ID. Note down the provisional registration number and password generated.
- Enter basic details and upload the scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration.
- Fill in all other required details using the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify and modify before final submission. Ensure all details are correct as no changes are allowed after completing registration.
- Proceed to the payment tab and pay the applicable fee online using debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards, or mobile wallets.
- On successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated. Take a printout of the e-receipt and the application form for future reference.
- No printed copy of the application needs to be sent to the Reserve Bank of India. Candidates may keep one copy for future use.
- Apply well before the closing date to avoid technical issues.
