Mode of Recruitment :
The Selection Process will comprise an Online Written Test, Document Verification, Test of Local Language, and Medical Examination.
Online Test
Selection for engagement of apprentices will be based on an online written test (MCQ type).

- Applicants will receive intimation through BFSI SSC’s portal regarding the date and timing of the examination.
- Applicants must attend the online examination using their own camera-enabled desktop/laptop/tablet/smartphone.
- Applicants must display the same ID Proof that was uploaded on the apprenticeship portal.
- Candidates must score the minimum aggregate percentage as decided by the Bank. A 5% relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects. There will be no negative marking.
Document Verification
After qualifying the online test, candidates will be required to attend detailed document verification. The following documents in original and self-attested photocopies will be required at the time of joining/document verification/language test -
- Printout of the system-generated online application/registration/enrolment form along with the intimation letter/mail for the Language Proficiency Test.
- Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or SSLC/Std. X Certificate with DOB).
- Valid Photo Identity Proof such as PAN Card/Passport/Driving License/Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook/Aadhaar/E-Aadhaar.
- All mark sheets and certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification.
- 10th standard or above certificate evidencing having studied the specified local language (if applicable).
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) in the prescribed format.
- Income and Asset Certificate for EWS candidates.
- Permanent Disability Certificate for PwBD candidates (and scribe details, if applicable).
- Documents for widows/divorced/judicially separated women seeking age relaxation.
- Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility.
Test of Local Language
Candidates will be required to appear for a qualifying Local Language Test. It will be exempted if the candidate produces a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specified local language.
Final Selection
Final selection will be based on merit in the online test, subject to document verification, the Local Language Test, and a detailed medical examination.
Fee Structure :
Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -
- General/OBC/EWS (Male): Rs. 944/- (Rs. 800/- + 18% GST)
- General/OBC/EWS (Female): Rs. 708/- (Rs. 600/- + 18% GST)
- SC/ST/PWBD (Male/Female): Rs. 236/- (Rs. 200/- + 18% GST)
- Transgender: Rs. 236/- (Rs. 200/- + 18% GST)
How to Apply :
To apply for Punjab National Bank (PNB) Apprenticeship Program 2025-26, candidates must complete the online registration and application process carefully as per official instructions.
- Visit the official Apprenticeship Application section of BFSI SSC portal and open the Apprenticeship Application Form.
- Complete online registration by entering personal and educational details.

Mandatory Registration on Apprenticeship Portals:
- Candidates not registered earlier on the NAPS portal must register as a Candidate using the same email ID and mobile number as provided in BFSI SSC.
- Candidates who passed Graduation on or after 01-01-2022 and are not registered on the NATS portal must register as a Student using Aadhaar number and the same email ID and mobile number.
- After successful registration on NAPS/NATS, login and search for “Punjab National Bank” under apprenticeship opportunities and apply.
- Update the NAPS apprentice code number or NATS enrolment number in the BFSI SSC portal after submitting the examination fee.
- Pay the applicable application/examination fee through online mode only between 08-02-2026 and 24-02-2026.
- PwBD candidates using a scribe must provide the full name of the scribe, relationship with the scribe, and scribe’s Aadhaar card number.
- Submit the application form online after verifying all details carefully.
- No correction details are mentioned in the provided notification pages, therefore the form must be filled carefully before final submission.
- At present, no printed copy is required to be sent to Punjab National Bank (PNB). However, candidates may keep one copy of the submitted application and fee receipt for future reference.
