National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for filling up 266 regular posts of Administrative Officers (Generalists & Specialists). Interested candidates should apply online by 03-07-2025.

Pay Scale 50925-96765. Emoluments will be approximately Rs 90000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria :

1 Doctors (MBBS) M.B.B.S / M.D. / M.S. or PG – Medical Degree from a recognized University
OR equivalent foreign degrees which are recognized as such by the National Medical Commission (Formerly Medical Council of India) with the prescribed benchmark.
Furthermore, the candidate must be holding a valid registration from National Medical Commission (Formerly Medical Council of India) or any State Medical Council (as applicable for Allopathy) as on date of the scheduled interview.
2 Legal Graduate / Post Graduate in Law from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
3 Finance Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)
OR
B.COM / M.COM from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
4 Information Technology B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology / MCA from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
5 Automobile Engineering B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Automobile Engineering
OR
B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech in any branch of Engineering together with Diploma (at least one year duration) in Automobile Engineering
from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
6 Generalist Officers Graduate / Post Graduate in any stream
from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection process for concerned posts will be two-staged - Online exams (Prelims and Mains), and Interviews. Negative marking will be 1/4th (for both prelims and mains).

  • Prelims -
    • Prelims will consist of Objective Tests for 100 marks, with 60 minutes duration and 3 sections.

    • Descriptive Test of 30 Minutes duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Essay – 10 Marks, Précis – 10 & Comprehension – 10 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through on-line mode.
  • Interviews -
    • Generalist & Specialist Candidates who have been shortlisted based on online Phase – II (Mains Examination) will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted later. Final selection will be on the basis of overall performance in Mains and Interviews.

 

Fee Structure :

Application fee is 250 for SC / ST / PwBD and 1000 for others, to be paid online.

Mode of Recruitment :

All candidates are required to appear for both the online Preliminary and Main examinations. Candidates who qualify in the Main examination will subsequently be shortlisted for a Regional Language Test. The Preliminary Examination will include Objective Tests (Multiple Choice Questions) worth 100 marks, with a duration of 60 minutes. The Main Examination will also consist of Objective Tests (Multiple Choice Questions) worth 200 marks, with an examination duration of 120 minutes.

 

Fee Structure :

Application fee of Rs 850/- (Rs 100/- for SC/ST/PwBD/EXS) is to be paid online using debit card, credit card or net banking.

 

How to Apply :

Applications can be submitted online using the available facility by 11-11-2024. Before completing the application, carefully read the instructions. The applicant should complete the online application with all of their pertinent personal and academic data in the places indicated by their certificates. A digital photo and signature should be uploaded in an online application. The online application should be printed out and saved for later use.

The text for the hand written declaration is as : - “I, ___________ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
