LIC Recruitment 2019 Assistant Administrative Officers 590 Posts Online Application


Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 590 regular posts of Assistant Administrative Officers in Generalist/ It/ Chartered Accountant/ Actuarial / Rajbhasha trades. Interested and Eligible Candidates may apply online by 22-03-2019 , after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria. Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria:

For AAO (Generalist) - “Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution

For AAO (IT) - Graduation degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics, or an MCA, or an MSC(Computer Science)

For AAO (Chartered Accountant) - Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidate should have passed Final Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and completion of Articles as presented by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The candidate should be Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

For AAO (Actuarial) - Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have compulsorily passed paper CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. (Total 6 or more papers) as on the date of eligibility i.e. 1st March, 2019.

For AAO (Rajbhasha) : Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level OR Post Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level OR Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.

Pay Scale 32795 - 62315 (Approx 56000 Per Month)

Dates of Online Examination – Preliminary (tentative) - 4th & 5th May 2019

Dates of Online Examination – Main (tentative) - 28th June 2019

 

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection of Assistant Administrative Officers will be done through a three tiered process and subsequent Prerecruitment Medical examination.

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination - It will consist of an online objective test, with 3 sections (with separate timings for each section). Total time will be 60 minutes with 100 questions (Reasoning - 35, Quantitative Aptitude35, English Language - 30).

Phase-II : Main Examination - It will consist of objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive test for 25 marks, both online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Objective test will be of 2 hours duration will have 120 questions (30 from each of Reasoning Ability, General Knowledge, Data Analysis & Interpretation / Professional knowledge (for posts other than generalist), Insurance and Financial Market Awareness).

 

Fee Structure :

Application fee is INR 100 for SC/ST/ PwBD candidates and 600 for Others. It is to be paid online.

Eligible candidates will be intimated about further proceedings. Keeping a print copy for future use is advised.
