Nainital (Uttarakhand) based Kurmanchal Nagar Sahkari Bank (KNSB) has invited applications for 60 posts of Assistant Grade-II (Clerk/Cashier), with the last date to apply being 30-04-2026. These are regular positions with a probation period of two years, and candidates are advised to ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before applying.

The role primarily involves clerical and cashier responsibilities, including customer service, handling cash transactions, and performing basic banking operations across bank’s network of 51 branches across state of Uttarakhand.

Pay Scale: Rs. 21,346 - 58,786

Initial salary including allowances will be approx. Rs. 35,000 per month (may vary depending on rate of allowances).

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection will be based on performance in an Online CBT (Computer Based Test), which will be conducted in English only. The test structure is as follows:

  • The exam will be conducted at various centres in Haldwani and Dehradun.
  • During the exam, candidates must bring the Admit Card (to be downloaded before the exam) along with a valid government-issued photo ID proof.
  • Each question will have 5 answer choices.
  • Penalty for wrong answers will be 0.25 marks for each incorrect response.
  • Candidates who qualify in the Online Test will be considered for selection in the Clerical Cadre. Final selection will be made on merit based on performance in the test, subject to medical fitness and doc verification.

Fee Structure :

Application fee is Rs 1000 for candidates of all categories, to be paid online using available payment options in portal. Bank transaction charges (if any) will be additional.

  • Filling The application form
    • Proceed to the provided application portal. Click on “Click here for New Registration” and enter basic details like Name, Contact Information, and Email ID. A Registration Number and Password will be generated, to be noted down carefully.
    • If unable to complete the form in one go, use “Save and Next” to save progress and continue later.
    • Ensure the candidate’s name (and father’s/husband’s name) matches exactly with official documents.
    • Click on “Validate your details” and then “Save & Next” to proceed.
    • Upload Photograph, Signature, Left thumb Impression and Declaration as per specifications detailed above. Fill in the remaining details of the application form.
    • Use the Preview option to check the complete form before final submission.
    • After verifying all details, click on “Complete Registration”. No chnages will be allowed hereafter.
    • Proceed to the Payment section and click on “Submit” after completing the payment. Payment can be made using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Wallets.
    • After successful payment, an e-Receipt will be generated, download and print it along with the application form.
